Bayan Academy receives the National Kabalikat Award on August 28, 2019 as TESDA’s decade-long partner in contributing to the advancement of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in the country.
Tesda honors its partners from various sectors who have made significant contributions in technical education and skills development in the country.
The annual Kabalikat Awards is given to Tesda’s most active and outstanding partners who have assisted the agency in developing, enhancing and implementing training programs that have resulted in better employability of Filipino skilled workers.
These include partners from local government units (LGUs); the legislative branch; the national government agencies (NGA); government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs); non-government organizations (NGOs); private businesses and companies; and local and international organizations.
“We appreciate how these partners help the agency. While Tesda is the authority in TVET, we need the support and expertise of certain sectors. It is only proper that we recognize their notable contributions in the improvement of TVET,” Lapeña said.
