What's Next?: BPI SEAL SEGA 2023 Virtual Launch

On May 17, 2023, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM, Bayan Academy and BPI Foundation formally launched the second year of the BPI SEAL SEGA project. This project aims to mobilize BPI Foundation’s effort to offer more opportunities for Filipino startups for both tech and non-tech (1) micro-enterprises and THIS TIME, we expanded the program to include the (2) nano enterprises in their initial phase of the enterprise cycle and those who have yet to develop their proof of concept. BPI Foundation in partnership with Bayan Academy rallied entrepreneurship allies such as DTI Regional Operations Group, Startup Village, and AniMattify to reach more potential startup beneficiaries this year.

After the successful pilot run in 2022, the BPI Foundation and Bayan Academy were able to provide entrepreneurship training programs, and 20 enterprises were assisted with grants and mentoring. Through these interventions, SEAL-SEGA accomplished its reach to be able to assist further existing entrepreneurs to sustain and grow their enterprises.

This year, BPI SEAL SEGA will offer two programs for both registered (Micro-enterprises) and non-registered (Nano enterprises)1. SEAL SEGA for MEs - will have a chance to join the training, the business challenge to win an 80K-120K cash grant and SME marketing packages, and mentoring sessions2. SEAL SEGA for Nano - will have a chance to join the training and mentoring sessions.
