Background
The Save the Children: BURST - Support for Employment and Entrepreneurship Development or SEED project is an intervention designed to train the relocatees from Pasay City residing now in their new communities in Naic, Cavite and Tanay Rizal and in relevant technical skills as well as life skills and Technopreneurship training.
Save the Children will provide funding to train 160 beneficiaries. There will be at least 50 beneficiaries per area who will be equipped with various technical skills.
A community based training will be implemented in the three (3) areas. Bayan Academy will partner with existing on-the-ground TVI partners like CSTC College of Sciences, Technology and Communication Inc. as training implementer; Public Employment Service Office of the Local Government Units of each city and municipalities, Reyes Haircutters, F Salon, MIESCOR and other existing industry partners for employment. Bayan Academy will also seek the assistance of the different TESDA provincial and district offices.
