Background
In 2017, the project focused building the capacity of women entrepreneurs belonging to PCW’s six priority industries through the pilot runs of Social Enterprise Management (SEM) and GREAT Women Entrepreneurship (Gwen) Training. This year, PCW will continue to widen the reach of SEM and GWEn training program through Trainer’s Training and continuous direct implementation to its target beneficiaries.
One run of SEM Trainer’s training (SEM TOT) will be conducted to 20 WEE partners (enablers) in May 2019. They will undergo an accreditation process to become a SEM Trainer. Another two runs of SEM Training will be directly delivered to 60 women leaders of social enterprises from April 2019 to March 2020.
A trainer’s training on GWEn (GWEn TOT) is also set to be implemented with PCW’s target enablers. Similar to SEM TOT, the trainers will also go through an accreditation process. The accredited GWEn trainers will be tapped to roll-out the nine runs of GWEn training to 270 women entrepreneurs in six regions.
Aside from conducting trainings, Bayan Academy will also conduct a performance evaluation of graduates of previous runs of SEM and GWEn trainings as inputs to the enhancement of existing modules.
