RAMCAR - Battery Group Management Training Program for Management Trainees and Cadets Special Batch

Made possible through the Management Training Program of RAMCAR PHILIPPINE BATTERIES, INC (“RAMCAR”). The Cadet Engineering Program seeks to develop the managerial and leadership skills of RAMACAR’s management trainees and cadets by expanding and enhancing their knowledge in the different fields of management. The goal is to integrate the existing technical skills of the trainees with the management skills that they will learn from the program. In effect, the trainees should be able to apply their integrated knowledge to their eventual respective units in the company.

The Cadet Engineering Program has commenced last May 2019. The cadet trainees have already finished Modules 1 & 2 of the program, including their revalida for the Module 1. However, the talent development has recently expressed their desire to include 4 more cadet trainees to the program. Hence, they requested for an additional / special batch run of Modules 1 & 2 of the program to accommodate the 4 incoming cadet trainees and allow them to catch up with the original batch. Since there will only be four incoming cadets, the module will be extended to the existing supervisors and managers in the Battery Group to maximize this special run of the modules. In addition, this learning opportunity will allow the supervisors and managers to experience and further understand concepts and framework of Bayan Academy in terms of the Management Training / Cadet Program and Leadership Development Program.

Modules 1 and 2 of this additional batch will be delivered with using the same design and materials.

By Module 3, the additional 4 recruits from this special batch will already join the other batch of cadets. Hence, this workplan is only for Modules 1 and 2 of this special batch.

The Cadet Engineering Program has the following objectives:

  1. To Build Foundation: to develop the thinking process, people skills, and to teach the different stages for learning to do
  2. To Impart Business Skills: to explain the different aspects of business, particularly in finance, marketing, the relationship of technology and operations, and the adaptation of the different aspects of business in a company
  3. To Make Leaders and Develop Strategic Management Skills: to expound on strategic management by discussing the elements of leadership, the application and assimilation to their respective areas of responsibility

Strengthen the Participants' Foundation Skills: to develop the thinking process, people skills, and to teach the different stages for learning to do

Impart Business Skills: explain the different management functions, particularly in finance, marketing, the relationship of technology and operations, and the organization

Make Leaders and Develop Strategic Management Skills: let the participants know how to manage and lead strategically
