Through the generosity of JP Morgan Chase Foundation and in partnership with TESDA, Bayan Academy shall work on delivering technical-vocational education reforms based on the 2018 – 2022 National Technical Education and Skills Development Plan (NTESDP).
Specifically, Bayan Academy and TESDA shall work together for the development and implementation of the action and investment programs relative to the said NTESDP involving the eight (8) priority industries namely: Tourism, IT-BPO, Real Estate and Construction, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Electronics, Health and Wellness, and Transportation, Communication and Logistics.
The consultation of the various stakeholders consisting of industry experts and leaders will be part of the action programming process. Their inputs will be considered in improving the industries’ training curricula in order for it to become enterprise-led or demand-based. This approach may also expand TESDA’s collaboration with a larger and more diverse network of employers and industry leaders.
