In the pursuit of creating more impact for the transport community, Pinoy Tsuper Hero in its year four launched a different take in search for the next role model driver in the country as it will not only recognize the driver but also award the transport community from where the drivers are serving.
Program partners’ ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya, Bayan Academy and Phoenix Petroleum have continued the agreement to support and uplift the image and profession of the Filipino drivers through the Pinoy Tsuper Hero, a search for the role model driver in the Philippines.

On its fourth year, the quest for Pinoy Tsuper Hero will continue in select areas. Apart from the usual caravans, Pinoy Tsuper Hero will have its first PTH Pasasalamat Day, a grand celebration day for all drivers in Davao City on the first quarter of 2019. The second phase of the program will select 30 drivers from the selected key areas in the country and immerse them in extensive week long training in Manila. From the group, only 10 will be selected and will have the chance to be part of the National Awarding and will have the chance to receive funding for their project benefitting their transport organizations.
Winning driver will join the roster of Pinoy Tsuper Hero winners Reynaldo Samonte of Lipa City Batangas (2015), Edwin Escamos of Iloilo City (2016) and the recently recognized Alberto Abad of Antipolo City, Rizal.
The event was attended by key movers of the organizations with the passion of making a difference in the transport industry such as Philip Felipe, Executive Director of Bayan Academy; Angelita Lara, Chief Finance Officer of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya, Susan Afan, Managing Director of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya; Henry Albert Fadullon, Chief Operating Officer of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Celina Matias, AVP for Brand & Marketing of Phoenix Petroleum Philippines; and Paul Vincent Mercado, Chief Marketing Officer of ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya.
