From its humble beginnings in 2010, the JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPMC) Entrepreneurship Education for Community Development Program has grown into a movement that continues to uplift the lives of many underprivileged Filipinos, helping create better livelihood opportunities and entrepreneurial careers through free tech-voc and entrepreneurship skills education.

The first and only educational award in the country that recognizes unique ideas and best practices in school management and teaching and learning innovations — with the aim of promoting and sharing them with other schools – EETA was organized by Bayan Academy in partnership with Knowledge Channel Foundation, Inc., Rex Book Store Inc., ABS-CBN Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation, and the Department of Education (DepEd).

The Ayurveda Lifestyle Counselors Training provides the unique opportunity to learn the fundamental principles and essential practices in holistic healthcare and healing in Ayurveda and its immense relevance today. The training also introduces Ayurveda, its history and branches, with focus on biology, pathology and pharmaceuticals in Ayurveda and Ayurvedic management of few common non-communicable diseases–which includes natural home remedies, home care, and self-help therapies and healing methods.

The program aimed to inculcate entrepreneurship and management skills amongst the beneficiaries. The target outcome of the training was for the beneficiaries to eventually develop, and grow their existing livelihood activities. It is expected that they will be able to increase their income and help strengthen their ability to provide for the needs of their families.
